Actions
• Points for spend e.g. '2 points gained for every £1 spent' - this type of action is the most commonly used reward within loyalty; points can be redeemed at a later date for various rewards, and requires a secondary action or reward so points can be redeemed in some way
• Currency for Points e.g. '£5 credited for every 500 points gained' - this action links in with the above points for spend
• Currency for Spend e.g. '5p gained for every £1 spent'
• Registration action e.g. 'credit the account with a certain amount of points or cash for an {action}'
Rewards
• Discount - discounts can be created such as 20% off all food for card holders, or 50% off the bill for 250 points. All discounts need to be configured in Aztec as normal
• Item for birthday - you can choose to give items for birthdays such as a free glass of champagne; this reward can also be set so that it can only be redeemed one week prior and one week after a birthday date.
• Item for points - this lets the account holder redeem points gained against certain items; this could be anything from a bottle of beer to a two-course meal
• Item for reduced price - this reward could be used to give loyalty card members special discount on certain items such as a bottle of house wine for £5
• Item for registration - an item given away for free on registration such as a main meal or bottle of wine
• Item for visits - a reward can be created so that once a loyalty card has been created with a certain number of visits then a free drink or meal is provided
• Recurring item - for example, all loyalty card holders get one free beer every month
• Buy X get Y - can be used in a variety of ways such as buy 4 coffees get the 5th free or buy a particular brand of gin and get 50 extra points
